Good Afternoon RCS Families,
The past week was a difficult one with so many incidents in our country. I am hoping that you will join me in continuing to pray for the victims of 9/11 and those touched by violence across our land. As we continue to settle into our school routine, including drop-off, dismissal, and classroom schedules, I want to express my gratitude for your cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and safe environment for everyone.
This week, we will have our Back to School Night. You will receive separate communication with details on the event, including the time, location, and safety protocols. Please be sure to review this information. Additionally, kindly confirm your child’s after-school plans, including who will pick them up and how to reach them in case of an unexpected emergency.
To streamline the process of reporting daily absences, we ask that you call the school at 856-667-3034. You will be prompted to connect with extension 225 to report a student absence. Please note that this number is only for reporting a daily absence and not for late arrivals or early dismissals. Students arriving late will need to check in at the Main School office.
As a reminder, students must be in their classroom by 8:05 am. We continue to offer some flexibility as families adjust to the school schedule. Starting tomorrow, Mrs. Baker will no longer be at the front of the cones. Please remember to display the letter P clearly on your dashboard or visor and remain in the left lane if you are dropping off PreK students and siblings.
I trust that all families have received the Partners in Faith digital publication, which is sent out at the beginning of each month. It includes valuable insights about our Catholic faith, along with extra calendars for Advent and Easter, providing important information and history. I hope you enjoy the reading and find it enriching.
Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead and a blessed school year. Thank you for your ongoing support of our community.
God bless you and all that you do.
Sincerely,
John W. Keeley-Principal
