Principal's Update

10/13/2025 00:10:41

Good morning RCS families,

I hope your weekend was filled with laughter, joy, and wonderful memories. The extra day off on October 13th was certainly a welcome break from our daily routines—I hope you were able to take full advantage of the time and to celebrate Columbus discovering the Americas.

Here are a few important updates for the coming week:

  • Class Photos – Wednesday, October 15th
Students are encouraged to dress up and look their best for picture day. I look forward to seeing everyone ready to impress the camera!

  • Progress Reports – Thursday, October 16th
Progress reports will be emailed home. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher after you receive the report.

  • 7th & 8th Grade Fall Dance – Friday, October 17th, 6:30-9:30pm
Our Fall Dance will take place in the cafeteria. We’re excited to see our students come together for a fun evening of music and community!

  • Book Fair – Monday, October 20th – Friday, October 24th during school. Our annual Book Fair kicks off on Monday and will run throughout the week. Book Fair Family Shopping Event Thursday, October 23rd 6-8pm

  • Trunk or Treat and Haunted House - October 24th 6-8 pm.

  • Family Information Updates
Please take a moment to log into your FACTS Family Portal and ensure your contact information (address, email, and phone numbers) is current. We use this information for our emergency contact lists in case of an evacuation or other urgent situations. If you experience any issues accessing the portal, please contact Mrs. Crowell in the main office at (856) 667-3034 or email office@rcscherryhill.com.

Month of the Holy Rosary
Throughout the month of October, the Catholic Church celebrates the Month of the Holy Rosary. Pope St. John Paul II encouraged the faithful to pray the Rosary as a way to meditate on the mysteries of Christ’s life and strengthen our faith and relationship with God.

I invite all families to pray a decade of the Rosary together whenever possible. Family prayer is a powerful way to grow closer to God and to one another.
